SCOR provides it's membership with numerous supplemental player development programs.  Please make yourselves familiar with the individual program descriptions and register before deadline.   

Skills Through Extra Practice (STEP)   

    DESCRIPTION:

    The ‘STEP’ Program stands for Skills Through Extra Practice and intends to provide our

    3rd through 5th grade House players with an optional fun, age and level appropriate technical

    training environment.

    Participating players will be introduced to 10 individual ball skills; 5 possessive and 5 penetrating

    objectives over the course of 8 practice sessions.  All skill development activities will be instructed

    in a progressive format with special detail given to correct execution in isolated and then eventually

    game-like situations.  Players will be encouraged to use learned moves in their regular House

    practice sessions and games.

Player Development Program (PDP)    

    DESCRIPTION:

    This supplemental program has evolved over the years into a proven player development    program. It provides our more serious players from            within an age group with the opportunity to expedite their individual overall skill and fitness development in an intense, focused, fun and level

    appropriate environment.  This program offers participants one more practice session per week instruction from a professional coach and is 

    designed to be functionally cooperative with SCOR’s Travel Program curriculum.

    12 players are needed to register for SCOR to run Program.  SCOR will combine 2 adjacent age

    groups if necessary to provide a large enough committed group of players.

    This Program is best suited for players that want an extra practice per week but rely on the

    necessary draw from the other team(s) in order to have enough players to go ahead with program.

    Parents of participating players must register by deadline. DoC will coordinate details once deadline has passed.

Team Development Program (TDP)    

    DESCRIPTION:

    This Program provides our more serious Travel teams with the opportunity to expedite their

    individual and overall ball skills, fitness and tactical insight development by practicing together

    one more session per week with their regular in-season professional coach.

    A minimum of 10 players for U10-U12 Travel teams and a minimum of 14 players for

    U13-U14 are needed to commit.  Parents of participating players must register by deadline.

    Manager will coordinate details with DoC.

Academy 9 Select Practice    

    DESCRIPTION:

    This ’NEW” supplemental SCOR player development program is designed to cater to our more

    serious Academy 9 Program 3rd graders wanting to improve their individual ball skills and game insight

    in an intense, focused, fun and level appropriate learning environment.  This program offers participants one

    more practice session per week through instruction from a professional coach.  Program is designed

    to be functionally cooperative with SCOR’s Academy 9 Program curriculum.
