House practices (for 2nd grade through high school divisions) are scheduled to begin the week of August 24. Games for all divisions (PreKthrough high school) will begin Saturday September 12. The weeks are continuous for 10 weeks with no make-ups. The goal is to get 7 games in per season. In the case of rain or wet fields, game readiness is determined by Ridgefield Parks & Rec and is communicated via a blast email and posted on the SCOR website. Parks & Recs inform SCOR of field closures at 7am on Saturdays and 2pm during the week.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In partnership with SCOR's Director of Coaching, Phil Bergen and his coaching staff through Team Excel, we are now able to offer a professional coach to lead the weekly practice for House players in 2nd grade through high school. The practice session will be held for one hour one time a week. Parent Coaches are encouraged to attend the practices and will be the lead coach for the games on Saturdays.
