It is SCOR's philosophy that players develop best when exposed to a variety of teammates and coaches. All team assignments are based on this philosophy. All House coaches are volunteers. House teams practice one day during the week, at a designated practice time (except PreK, K and 1st Grade who do not have practices). All House games are scheduled on Saturdays. All players wishing to play on a House team need only register for the upcoming season. There is no "tryout" or evaluation process. SCOR does supply uniforms for all House players

The SCOR Academy program is designed to provide young players, ages 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 with a development intensive environment in which individual initiative, creativity, risk-taking, experimentation, skill development and individual tactical understanding are emphasized over learning positions, systems of play, and league results. The Academy program is a bridge between SCOR's House and Travel programs and is designed to prepare players for the transition from a recreational to a more competitive environment. The SCOR Academy has five levels:
1. Academy 7 (born in 2012)*
2. Academy 8 (born in 2011)*
3. Academy 9 (born in 2010 or 2011)*
4. Academy 10 (born in 2009)*
5. Academy 11 (born in 2008)*
