How do I apply for referee assignments?

  1. If you are a USSF certified Referee in good standing and would like to receive referee and/or assistant referee assignments for either House games, Travel games, or both please contact the respective assignors (USSF Grade Level 8 Referees must be 13 years by June 30 and can work House, Academy and Travel games given the appropriate level of experience).
  • Assigner - House and Travel
  1. In addition, you should provide the following information to your assignor, this will be used to help determine the most appropriate role / age group when assigning referees to games.
  • Years Experience
  • Your preferred role (CR vs. AR or either)
  • Your preferred age group (U10 - U14)
  • Confirm the level you wish to referee i.e. a) House, b) Travel or c) Both
  1. Ensure you have an account in Central Assign.  This is the central tool used to assign all Travel games (If you have difficulties, or don't know your account login details please contact  - House and Travel)
  • Click on >> Update My Profile, be sure to provide your contact number at the bottom of the screen and check the box that says "I Knowingly And Voluntarily Provide My Phone Number To The Following PRIMARY Assignor(s):" and select assignor "Assignor's name". This ensures the assignor has your contact information in the event they need to reach you during game day e.g. if a game is delayed, cancelled or rescheduled.
